1. How does the delivery person know how it works?
Fortunately, this is very simple. All our boxes come with a clear instruction sticker. You stick it on the front of the box. This way every delivery person can see at a glance how the parcel box works. And good to know: parcel boxes are becoming increasingly common, so most deliverers recognize the system immediately.
2. Does every package fit in a package mailbox?
It depends on the size of your box as well as the package. Our smallest models are suitable for standard boxes and clothing packages. Larger models such as the PakketPanda Classic XXL or the ParcelXL Largest Parcel Letterbox available can also handle larger boxes. When in doubt, it is best to choose a size larger – then you will always be right.
You can find the inside dimensions with each product on the website. And know: the larger the lid or input flap, the larger the packages that will fit inside.
3. Is it really safe from theft?
Yes. Every PakketPanda box closes automatically once the package is inside. You can only open it with your key. Some models, such as the PakketPanda Reverse., even have a separate anti-theft flap or double lock. In addition, our boxes are made of thick steel (up to 1.2 mm), solidly powder-coated, and not easily broken open.
Extra benefit: with a house number sticker and clear visibility, you prevent packages from being misplaced in the first place.
4. What if the package box is full?
Then the delivery driver cannot place an additional package. The flap is designed to lock after one delivery – that’s exactly what makes the box so secure. Do you often receive multiple packages per day? Then we recommend a large model such as the ParcelXL XXXXL or a box with reverse take-up. This allows you to take out parcels yourself in between deliveries and free up space.
5. What happens when it rains or snows?
Our boxes are designed for outdoor use. They have a sloped top or canopy so that water does not stay in the box. Most models are fully sealed against rain intrusion. For extra protection, you can choose a rain cover, especially useful in autumn and winter. You’ll find those among the accessories.

- Place your box in an easily visible and accessible location – ideally with the lid facing the sidewalk
